The page

Count Your Times is a free page. You name a person you love, give their age, your age, and how often you actually see them. The page estimates how many more times you will see each other, and how many of your times together you have already used. It uses public life tables from the U.S. Social Security Administration. The arithmetic is simple and the assumptions are written down in the methodology.

The number is not a prediction about any one life. Real lives are not averages. The page exists because the average is still worth knowing, and because most people have never done the sum.

Tend

The page is the front door of Tend. Tend is a simple service for the five to fifteen people you love most. It notices when too long has passed, schedules the call, plans the visit, and remembers the birthday before you have to. One honest check-in every Sunday. It works from metadata only: never message content, never always-on audio, never an auto-sent message. Drafts are always shown as drafts. The founding page states the offer plainly, including what Tend will never do.

Who

Tend is made by Alex Ray, an independent builder. There is no company behind it yet beyond one person and a domain. If you want to talk, write to hello@countyourtimes.com. Corrections and better sources are welcome. The page will always say what it assumes.
